The short version

Embedded software fails differently. There's no refresh button on a sensor in a field, a memory leak surfaces after four months of uptime, and a bad firmware push can brick a thousand units at once.

We build for those constraints: bounded memory, watchdogs, brownout handling, and update paths designed to fail safe. Devices come online with signed firmware, report health, and can be updated over the air without a truck roll.

What clients ask about embedded systems development

The things that come up most on the first call. Anything else, just ask — we answer straight.

  • Do you design hardware too?

    We do the firmware, connectivity and cloud side, and work alongside your hardware engineers or EMS partner. We'll review schematics from a firmware standpoint and flag problems early, but we don't lay out boards.

  • How do you test without the full fleet?

    Hardware-in-the-loop rigs plus simulated fleets for the cloud side. OTA rollouts then go out in staged cohorts, so a problem hits a handful of devices rather than all of them.

  • What about security on devices in the field?

    Secure boot, signed firmware, per-device credentials and encrypted transport as the baseline. A device you can't physically protect has to assume someone will try.
